Our Trustees guide the strategic direction of the organisation and hold management accountable for good stewardship of the charity’s financial and human resources. Our Trustees all bring extensive and varied knowledge to their roles.


Our leadership positions carry a genuine occupational requirement for the post holder to be Christian. This is because a Christian faith is central to the fulfilment of our objectives and to maintaining the Christian ethos of Mission Care’s nursing and residential homes.


The Registered Manager at each of our care homes is responsible for ensuring the smooth-running of the home and maintaining high standards of care. Together with the Clinical Lead, they seek to provide clear and positive leadership to staff and foster a culture within our homes that reflects our ethos and values.


Our nurses and carers are truly on the frontline caring for the needs of our residents throughout the day and night. They undertake a thorough training programme that is both rigorous and ongoing, and receive regular competency assessments which identify areas for growth.


Our Activities Carers are experienced care workers whose role it is to organise and run enjoyable and stimulating activities for residents across our homes. These activities can include anything from outings to entertainment and are an essential part of creating a rich life experience for our residents.


Meal times are an important social occasion for our residents and are a highlight for many in their daily routine. Our in-house catering team take care to provide highly nutritious and tasty meals that our residents will enjoy. Because they are in-house, our cooks are flexible and can provide tailored meals to suit individual dietary requirements.


Mission Care’s Domestic team play a very important role in making sure that all areas of our homes are clean and safe places where staff can care for our residents. Thorough cleaning and dusting is carried out every day both in resident’s rooms as well as all communal areas throughout the homes.


Our experienced Facilities team provide a vital service to Mission Care, undertaking all aspects of maintenance across our homes, charity shops and cafe. From painting and decorating, to plumbing, tiling and plastering, our multiskilled team ensure our properties are in good shape 24/7.


Our pastoral team provide thoughtful, Christian care to serve the spiritual needs of our residents. They work with volunteers to run regular Bible studies, prayer meetings and services which provide meaningful social interaction for residents and opportunities for spiritual encouragement.


Our frontline care teams are supported by dedicated administration teams who work in our Support Centre as well as in our homes. Our administrators provide behind-the-scenes assistance with everything from communications and staff training, to resident paperwork and events management.
