The sky lit up over Elmwood recently as staff and residents joined together to celebrate Bonfire Night. As part of our tradition, residents from other Mission Care homes, together with their families and friends also attended, making it an event to remember.
Everybody was excited to watch the beautiful fireworks extravaganza, and took in the views from the garden or the balconies. Resident, Joyce, commented, “That was lovely, so colourful.”
Elmwood’s cook Molly, together with the kitchen team prepared and served some delicious treats, including hot dogs and soup, sandwiches and slices of tasty cakes. All of the residents commented on what a great time they had at Elmwood and how they can’t wait for the next fireworks event!
