Each and every one play a vital role in creating meaningful and joyful experiences for our residents for which we are incredibly thankful.
Being a volunteer at Mission Care can mean a number of things – from volunteering in our pastoral team, to lending a hand in our charity shop, driving a minibus down to the coast or making sure our gardens are fed and watered. It may even be as simple, yet meaningful, as taking 30 minutes to enjoy a cup of tea and a chat with someone who would love to spend time with you. Here are just some of the ways you can volunteer for us.
Mission Cafe volunteers
Community is at the very heart of Mission Cafe. Our comfortable space in the centre of Bromley provides a welcoming home for everyone including networking clubs, mother and baby groups, businesses, societies and church groups. We are also proud to be dementia-friendly, ensuring our cafe environment offers a safe and supportive environment for people living with dementia and those who care for them.
We are looking for out-going, committed volunteers to support us in the day to day running of Mission Cafe. You do not need previous café experience, just heaps of enthusiasm! We will work closely with you to ensure that you are fully trained in all areas.
So, if you are looking for a rewarding volunteer role and can dedicate 3-4 hours per week, we’d love to hear from you!
