Residents at Elmwood recently welcomed singer and guitarist, Joe Philip, for an afternoon of live music. Many residents joined in the fun and were excited to join in with Joe’s performance.
Joe sang favourites from Frank Sinatra, Elvis, Roy Orbison, Dean Martin and many others from the 1950s, 60s and 70s. “Our residents were singing along and dancing to the beat”, George Kalsi, Activities Co-ordinator, told us. “They were on their feet, moving in their chairs and waving their arms.”
Everyone had a lovely afternoon and one resident, Joyce French, commented: “The show was wonderful and the singer was very good!”
