This Dementia Awareness Week, 14-20 May, Alzheimer’s Society is asking everyone across England, Wales and Northern Ireland to unite against dementia.
Mission Care is working closely with Bromley Dementia Action Alliance and Bromley Dementia Support Hub to create a series of events across the borough to raise awareness about those living with dementia and urge people to take action.
On Friday 19th May, as part of Dementia Awareness Week, we are excited to be hosting a dementia-friendly session “Singing for Seniors” with Susan Garrett of Vocal Vitality, an uplifting and interactive sing-along. The afternoon will combine a variety of songs, movements, and vocal games and promises to be a fun and energising event.
“Singing for Seniors” will be held at Mission Cafe and starts at 2.30pm. The event is free to attend and everyone is welcome!
