Welcome to Homefield, a haven nestled in the charming neighbourhood of Bickley, where we deliver exceptional care to our treasured elderly and vulnerable residents. Our mission is to create a vibrant community where our residents can thrive and feel truly at home. With a diverse range of engaging activities and dedicated staff who go above and beyond, we're committed to brightening the lives of our residents each day.
Inspired by the words of our founder, Selena Fox, we strive to "relieve the pressing necessities of the sick and suffering, ease the burdens off weary, tired shoulders, and bring hope and comfort through the Gospel of Jesus Christ." Homefield is a living testament to this vision, offering solace, care, and a sense of belonging to residents, relatives, and staff alike.
We provide a comprehensive range of care services across our five homes, tailored to meet the varying needs of older adults. Four of our homes offer full nursing care for individuals who are elderly, frail, or living with dementia, delivered by skilled nursing teams in a safe and supportive environment. Our fifth home specialises in residential care for those living with dementia and physical disabilities, focusing on personalised support that promotes comfort, dignity, and quality of life.

Our elderly care services are designed to support older adults who may require assistance with daily activities or ongoing medical care. We provide a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment where residents receive personalised support tailored to their individual needs.
From help with mobility and personal care to medication management and companionship, our dedicated team ensures every resident feels valued and well cared for. Our pastoral team plays an active role in the life of each home, offering emotional and spiritual support, companionship, and a reassuring presence for residents and their families.
We offer specialised dementia care across all of our homes, with environments and routines carefully structured to support those living with memory loss or cognitive decline.
Our staff are trained in dementia-specific approaches, promoting safety, familiarity, and meaningful engagement. We focus on maintaining independence wherever possible while providing compassionate support that recognises the unique needs of each individual.
Respite care offers short-term stays for individuals who need temporary support, whether recovering from an illness or giving their regular caregiver a much-needed break.
Our respite guests receive the same high standard of personalised care as our long-term residents, with access to all services, activities, and amenities. It’s a flexible option designed to provide peace of mind and restorative support.
Our end of life care focuses on providing comfort, dignity, and emotional support during life’s final stages. We work closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure that physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met with compassion and respect.
Our pastoral team is an integral part of this care, offering spiritual guidance, emotional reassurance, and a calm presence to help individuals and their loved ones navigate this deeply personal time. We are committed to creating a peaceful and supportive environment where individuals can spend their final days with grace and dignity.

I mostly enjoy working with the wider Multidisciplinary team as this enables us to deliver person-centred care and our residents can enjoy a fulfilling life.
Working at Mission care since June 2020, has been an enjoyable experience and have found being a Leader such an honour.
