Feba Thomas - Manager
I am delighted to serve as Home Manager at Mission Care, The Elms. Since joining Mission Care in 2022 as an Assistant Practitioner, I have had the privilege of progressing through a variety of nursing and leadership roles before being appointed Home Manager in June 2026.
I am truly grateful for the trust that has been placed in me and proud to lead such a dedicated and compassionate team. What I admire most about Mission Care is the commitment and care demonstrated at every level of the organisation. As a Christian, I deeply value the faith-based ethos that underpins everything we do. Guided by compassion, kindness, and respect, we provide person-centred care that honours each resident's unique needs, preferences, and dignity.
At The Elms, our residents are at the heart of everything we do. Through holistic care, engaging activities, community events, and meaningful pastoral support, we nurture physical, emotional, social, and spiritual wellbeing. Our aim is to create a warm, welcoming environment where every resident feels valued, connected, and truly at home. Mission Care's unwavering commitment to Christian values and holistic care makes The Elms a truly special place to live, work, and serve. It is a privilege to be part of a team that is dedicated to enriching the lives of those in our care each and every day.
The words of 2 Corinthians 1:3–4 are a continual source of inspiration for me: "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God."
