Plane Spotting
One of our residents said that they would really like to go plane spotting!
So we searched for a good vantage point from which to watch some planes at our nearest airport – London City Airport. We found a Chinese restaurant called Yi-Ban, with tables next to a wall of glass which overlooked the royal docks and the airport across the water.
We watched a few planes take off and land right in front of us, whilst eating delicious Dim Sum, sweet and sour prawns, Tom Yum soup, seafood noodles and more wonderful dishes – all washed down with copious amounts of Jasmine Tea.
It was a great day out doing something unusual – it was so good that we’re repeating the trip for other residents next week!

India VS England Test match
We took a group of our residents to the Oval cricket grounds for the India V England test match – the third game of the series ending level 1-1. We enjoyed our large outdoor seating area and felt very safe! Even with a mix of India and England supporters it was a great day out for our residents at Mission care.
Cycling At Herne Hill Velodrome
Cycling at the Herne Hill Velodrome is very popular with our Love Walk residents – so much so that they want to go every week! Thankfully we have been able to resume our cycling sessions again and residents are ecstatic.
